Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor and is famous as a character on a cult TV series called 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to pursue a passion for acting. In his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder where he took classes in acting. Although he's been active in films and TV, the characters he has played on the small screen that have earned him recognition and followers. His ability to portray characters from both sides of the law has caught the eye of viewers. He was the voice of the serial killer in his first television series project however he later went on portray the character of an NYPD detective. He's been nominated many times for the prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen performance. His most attractive facial feature is thought to be his stunning blue eyes which have been deemed to be a trademark and have aided in portraying characters who are rough and flamboyant. In 2006, he appeared on People's publication's Sexiest Men Alive list.
